Songbird 1.4.3 Installer

Due to very high request, I present the Songbird 1.4.3 installers.
As promised, we’ve just started pushing updates from 1.2.0 to the new 1.4.3 release!
If you’re impatient, or raring to grab the update, go to Help > Check for Updates in the Songbird menus to trigger an update; this will download 1.4.3 in all its purple glory!
We know some of you prefer the Gonzo Feather. Thankfully, we have an awesome community developer and Songbird Champ: boosh. He went ahead and made a Gonzo 2.0 Feather using all the UI enhancements we made in Purple Rain, but with the visual style of Gonzo.
You can either remove the old installation and do a fresh install or upgrade the existing one. Please leave feedback on your experience.

Oh, and I couldn’t initially get this to start on Xubuntu 9.10, and other people have reported problems on Ubuntu and Fedora.
See http://getsatisfaction.com/songbird/topics/songbird_fails_to_start_on_fedora_11_with_undefined_symbol_in_libgstdeinterlace_so for details, but basically the problem is that Songbird comes with its own version of the gstreamer libraries, which conflict with new gstreamer libraries from the Ubuntu (and other repos).
The fix:
Update to latest version of gstreamer if you haven’t already
rm /usr/share/Songbird/lib/libgst*

No, you can update it from within Songbird, using the auto-update feature

Hey, I dont how isworking now, but now songbird close the Linux support, thats one of the worse news ive heard this days.
This is the greatest software for organizing music and showing info about your songs.
Please keep giving us the chance to have in linux.

Really cool but doesn’t start at my ubuntu 10.04 lucid because of the following errors:

Heel fijn dingetje,dit Songbird.Alleen een nare fout in,vind ik.Hij gaat gewoon alles afspelen als je de hele collectie hebt ingescant!
Hij gaat niet alles inrichten naar album en/of artiest.Zo dat je tenminste niet al de nummers die je niet meer aan kunt horen kan over slaan….Dus zolang hij deze fout heeft zal ik hem niet meer gebruiken,helaas………
